I'm a game developer living in Los Angeles, finishing up work on my final semester of undergrad. I've spent most of my life playing video games, and have spent the past four years studying how to design them! I have also spent a lot of time over the past year performing User Research in order to reveal the gaps between design and user intuition of a game I am working on, Plasticity.
Some non-game interests include:
Books: I am about 300 pages into Infinite Jest, the first book I have needed 2 bookmarks to read. Looking for more David Foster Wallace to read once I finish it!
Film & TV: Arrival, Twin Peaks, Black Panther - stories that have some sort of message to them, and that I am able to spend hours thinking about afterwards.
I'm experienced in paper prototyping and designing levels on paper, as well as rapid in-engine prototyping and in-engine asset placement.
Creative writing has always been a passion of mine. I am experienced in creating content for various text-based narrative delivery methods.
I have hundreds of hours of experience running Usability Tests using the R.I.T.E. method, performing Quality Assurance research, and documenting bugs!
